Dinah Mistilis

Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Dinah now resides in North Carolina where coached athletes, private lesson students and small groups come to her Discovery Aquatics swim studio to improve their swimming. The swim studio offers a unique blend of Endless Pool instruction and open water swimming in the same venue.

She has completed many triathlons and multisport events. She particularly enjoys competing in open water swimming races. Highlights have been the Rottnest Channel crossing in 2004, Swim around Charleston in 2011-12, the Chattanooga Rat Race 2012, the 2017 Tampa Bay Marathon Swim and the 2017 Swim the Suck.

Dinah is a certified Emotional Intelligence (EQ) coach and founder of SwimEQ. The SwimEQ program provides swimmers with the tools to manage emotions in a learning environment and to optimize performance in race situations. Dinah has trained through the Total Immersion Master Coach Level, she is a certified Open Water Coach by the World Open Water Swimming Association, and a Paddlefit level 3 instructor

Suzanne Atkinson, MD

Suzanne is originally from Ohio, and raised in Pittsburgh, PA where she still lives.   She founded Steel City Endurance Coaching in 2006, and coaches triathletes, cyclists, swimmers, runners and other endurance athletes.  She is also a board certified Emergency Medicine physician practicing at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and teaches medicine to students and residents.

Suzanne works primarily with triathletes, many of whom compete at the national and international level, is the long standing coach of World Champion and multiple time USAT Triathlete of the Year Kirsten Sass. Suzanne also  teaches bike skills clinics for local cyclists and triathletes, as well as running clinics in an effort to help others avoid injuries and become more efficient runners.

Suzanne is also advisor and coach for the University of Pittsburgh Triathlon Team, and during the summers volunteers at camps for  Junior Elite Performance Team, Get Fit Families, coaching kids ages 5-18 at the USA Youth & Junior National Championships, working closely with founder Joella Baker.

Her prior education include training up to the Total Immersion Master Coach level, USA Triathlon Level 2 Coach (Level 3 eligible) and Ironman Certified Coach.
