In this camp with 3 day and 5 day options, athletes will have the opportunity to learn and train using the Fresh Freestyle TripleQ™ system to improve swimming and performance for the upcoming season. Fresh Freestyle delivers quality swim education by integrating Technical Intelligence™, Physical Intelligence™ and Emotional Intelligence™.

For each of these three facets you will learn practical methods to assess current skills as well as how to plan a pathway forward. This camp will have an emphasis on using each facet of the Fresh Freestyle TripleQ™ in a training environment to guide you to peak performance for the upcoming season.

During camp you will experience:

  • How to perform a thorough Technical Intelligence™, Physical Intelligence™ and Emotional Intelligence™ assessment to identify athlete needs and priorities.
  • How to integrate these needs and priorities into training workouts
  • Video review to optimize awareness and fast track technique improvements
  • Evidence based approaches to fitness testing and analysis to apply to your new season training
  • Practical skills to improve emotional intelligence for race day execution, maximizing training potential, and managing everyday life experiences
  • How to set realistic goals for the upcoming season

Athletes will develop awareness, form clear improvement pathways and implement skills to harmonize communication throughout the body, reaching maximum potential both in and out of the water.

Perform a Technical Intelligence™ assessment – our system allows you to immediately identify your pockets of potential.

Spine Core and More – begin to explore spinal fluency and spatial awareness, the cornerstone of shoulder and pelvic girdle stabilization.

9:15-11:00 Pool 1
Learn how to transfer dryland skills to the water – spine and core activation enable shoulder and pelvic girdles to stabilize, building a better foundation for your swim technique. Learn how to create a hydrodynamic body shape around your stable spine.
Gather Physical Intelligence™ data to maximize your training.

11:30-12:30 Classroom 2
Video analysis – use visual feedback to improve movement awareness and connection to optimize your base.
Breakdown the data from the Physical Intelligence™ assessment and learn how to plan effective workouts.

3:00-5:00 Pool 2
Take technique to the next level by scaffolding skills to your freestyle foundation. You will learn technique driven speed concepts to have you moving fluidly through the water.

Day 2 Saturday January 19 2019

Spine Core and More – continue to explore spinal fluency and spatial awareness, the cornerstone of shoulder and pelvic girdle stabilization.

9:15-11:00 Pool 3
Take technique to the next level by scaffolding skills to your freestyle foundation. You will learn how to apply Technical Intelligence™, Physical Intelligence™ and Emotional Intelligence™ to breathing. Step it up one more level when swim skills meet race skills.

11:30-12:30 Classroom 3
In this video analysis session learn how to optimize your breathing. You will develop a clear understanding of your TripleQ™ priorities and application of these corrections into training. Participate in an Emotional Intelligence™ exercise to help build mental endurance.

2:00-4:00 Pool 4
Take technique to the next level by scaffolding skills to your freestyle foundation. You will learn how technical elements of catch and kick can impact speed. Blend the TripleQ™ system in a swim workout specific for your needs.

Day 3 Sunday January 20 2019

9:00-9:15
Spine Core and More – continue to explore spinal fluency and spatial awareness, the cornerstone of shoulder and pelvic girdle stabilization. Add an Emotional Intelligence exercise to your dryland tool box.

9:15-11:00 Pool 5
Blend elements of the TripleQ™ system with race skills – find where your pockets of potential are for the year ahead.

11:30-12:30 Classroom 4
In this video analysis session learn how to optimize your catch and kick. You will develop a clear understanding of technical priorities and application of these corrections into training. Create a plan for the coming year using the TripleQ™ system.

2:00-4:00 Pool 6
Review skills from the TripleQ™ system in this session – learn how to blend elements of Technical Intelligence™, Physical Intelligence™ and Emotional Intelligence™ in a workout format as part of a clear improvement pathways for a successful year ahead.

Day 4 Monday January 21 2019

Spine Core and More – prime your pool session with a custom dryland progression designed from the previous 3 days of camp.

9:15-11:00 Pool 7
We go a little beyond the comfort zone by using test sets as a means to develop speed. You will learn the best way to approach and execute these assessments.

11:30-12:30 Classroom 5
Analyze the mornings test set data – learn about the physiology of going fast and how to transfer this information to pool or open water workouts. We will review video alongside this information to blend Technical Intelligence™ and Physical Intelligence™.

3:00-5:00 Pool 8
Take the information from the days sessions and build into a custom set to enhance your swimming. Find fresh ways to combine the TripleQ™ system into your swim workouts.

Day 5 Tuesday January 22 2019

9:00-9:15
Spine Core and More – prime your pool session with a custom dryland progression designed from the previous 4 days of camp.

9:15-11:00 Pool 9
In this pool session we will explore your advanced swim skills. You will take away specific swim exercises to improve your skills over the coming months.

11:30-12:30 Classroom 6
A final video review from the morning session –  use the visual feedback in combination with the previous days information to create a plan for the coming year using the TripleQ™ system.

3:00-5:00 Pool 10
Guided by your Fresh Freestyle coaches we will use the last pool session to progress through a custom workout. Each swimmer will have opportunity to work one-to-one with a coach to ensure improvement pathways are clear and concise.

Travel Arrangements-IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We encourage you to register for camp now at no financial risk, but wait on booking any non-refundable travel arrangements. A confirmation letter will be sent out Prior to December 31st. At the time coaches make their travel arrangements, you’ll also be notified that it is safe to proceed. In the event the camp is cancelled by Fresh Freestyle, you will receive a 100% refund of your tuition in full, credited to your original source of payment.

Refunds & Cancellations

REFUNDS: Requests for refunds made more than 8 days prior to the start of camp will credited to your original method of payment minus a $100 non-refundable deposit.

NO REFUND will be issued for cancellations LESS THAN 8 days prior to the scheduled workshop unless a doctor’s note can be provided. The $100 deposit per person remains non-refundable, but may be transferred to any future camp, workshop or private lesson within one year of initial registration.
